Who We Are
Once Off Productions is an independent producing platform established in 2006 by Maura O’Keeffe to provide creative and flexible producing supports for independent performing artists.
Currently funded under a new Creative Production Services pilot scheme by the Arts Council of Ireland, Once Off is led by a small team of experienced cultural sector professionals.
Once Off enables some of the most brilliant and exciting artists based in Ireland today to develop, create and present new work for us all.

Our Team
Director Maura O’Keeffe has a long and far-reaching career enabling independent artists to make ambitious, innovative and collaborative art. She works nationally and internationally at all scales and is committed to live art and bringing performances to audiences in traditional and non-traditional locations.
Finance Officer Catherine Finn is responsible for the day to day financial operations of Once Off Productions. Before joining Once Off, Catherine worked with numerous leading Irish theatre and dance companies, including Dance Ireland, the Gate Theatre, Teac Damsa & Fabulous Beast, Landmark Productions, United Fall, and continues to retain some freelance contracts.
Associate Producer Cally Shine is a theatre producer from Seattle, WA, based in Dublin. She holds a BA in Theatre and a Minor in Irish Studies from the University of Montana and a Graduate Diploma in Cultural Policy and Arts Management from University College Dublin.

She has also produced for Fishamble: The New Play Company and Dead Centre.
Associate Producer Lucy Ryan was the Director of Programming & Finance at Smock Alley Theatre (2019 – 2024) prior to joining Once Off Production in early 2025. In her time at Smock Alley Theatre time she guided the organisation through a funding re-structure with Dublin City Council which has secured the existence of the organisation into the future; and presented 5 new in-house co-productions from independent artists and companies including the following shows with Once Off Productions: Master Class by Terence McNally (2023), You Belong to Me by Rory Nolan (2023) and A Streetcar Named Desire by Tennessee Williams (2024).
She also established the Rachel Baptiste programme for black and Irish theatre makers, which developed four new stage plays each year (from 2020 – 2025).
Lucy has a background in the theatre, film and TV industries in both Ireland and the UK. Work in theatre includes several years at The Donmar Warehouse Theatre, London, Executive Producer at Corn Exchange, Dublin producing the Blackwater Valley Opera Festival in Lismore, Co. Waterford and the world premiere of Marina Carr’s adaptation of Virginia Woolf’s To The Lighthouse as part of Cork Midsummer Festival 2021.
Associate Producer Sadhbh Barrett Coakley is a freelance producer and stage manager. She holds a BA in Theatre and Drama Studies from MTU Cork School of Music. She completed Smock Alley’s Creative Producers programme GENERATOR 2016/2017 and has an MA in Arts Management and Creative Producing from UCC. Sadhbh is co-artistic director of ALSA Productions. ALSA Productions were artists in residence in MTU Cork School of Music (2017-2019) and Artists in Residence in Corcadorca’s Theatre Development Centre (2018 - 2020).
Company Manager Morgan Steele is a theatre administrator and producer originally from Los Angeles, California. She has worked internationally on both nonprofit and commercial productions within the US, Ireland, UK, and Canada. Notable work in North America includes the pre-Broadway tour of Ain’t Too Proud (2018) and serving as the Company Manager on multiple shows at Berkeley Repertory Theatre. Ireland and UK projects include Once (Landmark Productions, 2017) and Medicine by Enda Walsh (Galway International Arts Festival and Edinburgh International Festival, 2021), Book of Names by Louise Lowe (Dublin Theatre Festival, 2021) and Daughter of God by Roderick Ford (Once Off and Asylum Productions, 2023). Morgan has also worked in the television industry as an Associate Producer for Disney Channel Media Relations. She holds a B.A. in Theatre and Performance Studies from UC Berkeley and a M.Sc. in Business Management from Trinity College Dublin.
